Blue Seal |
---|
Increases HP slightly. |
Blue Seal is a Ring in Dark Souls 2 (DKS2). Blue Seal, the emblem of the Way of Blue covenant. Offers a modest boost to HP. The Way of Blue is not an established faith, but rather a simple entreaty that organically resonated among those in search of aid. Players can equip up to 4 Rings, but equipping two of the same item is not possible. Some rings have upgraded versions, having a maximum of +3. Some can only be found in NG+. Rings can be repaired at a blacksmith, but not upgraded. Upgraded versions must be acquired throughout the game from corpses, chests, bosses, etc.
Ring of the Way of Blue covenant. Increases HP slightly. The Way of Blue is not a developed religion. It is a humble prayer that spread naturally amongst those seeking help. When apostles of Blue are invaded by dark spirits, they can receive assistance from masters of other worlds."

DS2 Ring of the Dead Tips and Notes
- After patch 1.0.4 you do not need to wear the Blue Seal to summon Blue Sentinels.
- While weaker by 2% than the starter gift Life Ring, this ring is easily obtainable from the very beginning of the game, allowing either for both the Life Ring and this ring (for 8% extra health) or exchanging the Life Ring for another starter gift and supplementing it with this ring.

I mean it's a no-brainer for very early NG before you have four rings. Granted, after a few hours most players will have 4 better rings than this, but still.

I mean, if you have no other rings you might as well put this one on until you get something better.
