Dead Again is a Hex in Dark Souls 2. To cast a Hex, you must use a staff/chime or Special Weapons that can cast Hex.

Notes
- The spell only affects the corpses of slain enemies. Upon casting, a dark wave is sent out from the caster. Any undead/hollow corpses caught in the area will have an orb of purple light glow above them, then explode for a large amount of damage.
- Between the start of casting the spell and corpses exploding can take three seconds, requiring good timing from the caster to avoid interruption or death.
Once the dark wave is sent out the caster can move as normal, and a second later the corpses will explode. Multiple corpses can explode dealing additional damage. - Can be very effective to create traps using dead bodies.
Anonymousno lie this can actually carry you through any (and i mean ANY) area of the game where the enemies don't turn to dust when they die on top of doing disgusting dark damage when there's at least 3 corpses to use it on, plus the quote "Hexes such as these, that tamper with life itself, are particularly abhorred." goes crazy hard man
just don't expect it to be a gojf card during invasions all the time

Pve bosses made trivial with this: skeleton lords, executioner chariot, the big rat boss(combine with the hollow slaying miracle for full cheese)

This is the best hex to have with the skeleton kings. Turns the skeletons into landmines and if there’s enough you can one shot anything in the AOE.

Kinda feel like this spell needs to harm the caster too. I mean, the videos of people using it to create traps are hilarious, but a host can stand right in the middle of a pile of corpses in a small room and can live through it while oneshoting an invader. Plus, ten uses? Really? Eh, I'm not into pvp so it won't effect me
Incredibly fun to use. I one-shotted the gargoyle in Aldia's Keep with this. 4 Dragon Acolyte corpses (it's very easy to group them up and kill them in the same place) dealt over 2400 damage with one cast. Highly recommended for hexers against mobs with high hp in areas where enemy corpses don't despawn.
