Hollow Peasant is an enemy in Dark Souls 2 (DKS2). Hollow Peasants, once inhabitants of Brightstone Cove Tseldora, now transformed into the undead. Armed with enchanted farming tools that inflict Dark damage and curse, these seemingly humble weapons become surprisingly dangerous in the hands of the numerous Peasants, posing a considerable threat. Enemies have their own behavior and unique attacks, killing enemies provide various drops that reward players with items and souls.

The mysterious events surrounding the town`s destruction robbed these unfortunate souls of their humanity and reduced them to cursed monsters; they now viciously attack any who wander into the settlement`s remains. Their weapons may be just farming equipment, but are enchanted with Dark and cause curse, along with doing a large amount of damage. This, coupled with their large numbers, makes them surprisingly dangerous.
