  • Despite being a very rare drop, The Mirrah Greatsword is still a better choice, since it has higher damage and it being available early game.

the drop rate isnt "very rare", just the weapon itself is because the guy who drops it only spawns once (without ascetics) and you're probably not going to get a ~5% drop rate item in 1 encounter.

The most pointless weapon to ever exist, literally the exact same thing as the Mirrah Greatsword, but worse in every conceivable way with absolutely abysmal durability to boot, It doesn't even look different so it's not like anyone's gonna be using it because they prefer the look of it or anything, Why does this even exist?

        • Anonymous

Farm this weapon only if you're collecting bonfire ascetic and petrified dragon bone in the same area using ascetic. Otherwise don't bother

          • Anonymous

I got it first run randomly, didn't even use it and just found out it's rare. Good thing I didn't sell it

            • “Available early game”. No, Aldia’s Keep is NOT early game.

To enter Aldia’s Keep you need the King’s Ring, to get the Kings Ring you must acquire it after beating the first boss of the Undead Crypt. To Enter the Undead crypt you have to go through Shrine of Amana. To get through Shrine of Amana you must have cleared Drangelic Castle. To enter Drangelic Castle you must first unlock the Winter Shrine, either but high soul count or acquiring the big bosses’ souls. To get to the Winter Shrine you must make it to the shaded woods’ second bonfire. To get to the Shaded Woods you must first use a Fragment of Yore on the cute pyromancy gf.

Even if you were to start out with one million souls on NG, you still must beat Dragonrider Twins, Looking-Glass Knight, Demon Froggo of Song, and Velsdat or whatever the knight’s name is that guards Vendrick’s lily pad. By this point nothing is stopping you from taking on the final bosses, so you would be half or most way through your play through.
