Armor Type

"Rags worn by imprisoned Hollows. This appears to have been worn on the body.

Judging by its looks and apparent virtues, this really is no more than a tattered scrap of cloth. It still carries the stench of a Hollow."

Location

Notes

  • Part of the Prisoner's Set
    • The helmet and chest pieces raise Item Discovery.
    • One way to obtain the entire set is to fight hollows just after the 2nd Undead Crypt bonfire; they spawn infinitely (throughout multiple gravestones) and do not require a rest at the bonfire for them to respawn (albeit, the drop rate is rarer than in other locations).
    • Prisoners in Harvest Valley and the Gutter drop variations of the tatters and the hood
  • Upgraded from Titanite.

I have 6 of these I will give away, I play on pc.
Preferably for a skeptic item or sunlight medal, but if you don’t have those I’ll give it for free.

I have 8 total but want to keep one of each kind for myself

Ok so I was farming around Huntsman's Copse today because I wanted a pair of Full Moon Sickles for my build, and as you might guess, in order to get that weapon you must be ready to kill the same enemies at least 100 times, because the drop rate is dumb as s***. So I got the Covetous Gold Serpent Ring+2 and the Jester's cap, and I decided I should farm the hollows for the Prisioner's tatters along with the Artificial Undead for the actual sickles since I was already there, so that I would get the highest amount of luck possible to get the weapons.
After farming for almost 3 hours, I got 100.000 souls, one Full Moon Sickle, 2 Prisioner's gloves, 2 leg pieces, and one head piece, while the actual tatters dropped exactly zero times.
It's so dumb, like what's the point of creating an item that increases luck if you make It's drop rate incredibly stupid as well?
Seriously, DS2 is my favorite game right now, but rng can f*** itself.
And yes, I really felt the need to type an essay about it.
