Reeve's Greatshield is a GreatShield in Dark Souls 2. Greatshields can be used not only to block an enemy but allows player to do shield bash. (Great shields replaced parry ability with heavy shield bash)
Acquired From:
- Can be farmed from the two Imperious Knights in the Undead Crypt, along a long hallway with wall-phantoms near the 2nd bonfire
Hints and Tips:
- Upgraded with Twinkling Titanite
- Can be power stanced if used along with Orma's Greatshield
- Requires at least 50 Strength to be power stanced

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.

I am doing a shield only build and this shield powerstancing with Orma actually do a decent amount of damage for shields. The LB(L1) attack is fast enough that you can chain/combo two in a row without the enemy being able to roll away and at 50str and these both shields at +3 I am able to hit nearly 1k damage on an LT(L2)/Heavy attack. Every other greatshield I have used 2h isn't quick enough to get a true combo from chained attacks.
Before I had these shields and I was going my greatshield only run I kept my greatshield in my left hand. This was a mistake because when powerstancing with this shield and Orma the moveset is the same as a greatshield 2handed in your right hand slot.
Each shield cost 15 twinkling titanite to upgrade.

For those unaware, this has a 3 hit true combo in PvP that can easily deal upwards of 1100-1800+ damage... The downside is that you gotta get someone midswing with a pretty precise spacing for the first hit to get the other two garenteed... However when you land it, you scare the hell out of people.
