Shadow Gauntlets Description
"Used to hide in the cover of night. Those who are especially adept assassins are often hired as bodyguards.
In an attempt to stave off the curse, King Vendrick hired shadowmen to put down the Hollows, but before long they were Hollowed themselves"
Where to Find \ Location
- Drop from Suspicious Shadow (NG+) or with the use of a Bonfire Ascetic at the No Man's Wharf bonfire.
- 2 shadows appear with the boss. Drop rate is "Rare" even with stacked item discovery and rusted coins.
Notes
- Upgraded with Titanite
- Gauntlets need 16 Dex to use
- Gauntlets have bleeding attack
- Can drop duplicates.
- Grants 50 Bleed AR before Infusion Modifications and partial Base Bleed AR & Bleed Scaling dependant on the infusion

AnonymousDudes, its possible to drop it at NG (Sotfs) in No Man's Wharf bonfire . I farmed it using Champions Covenant (to infinite respaw), Jester's Cap + Prisioner's Tatters + Covetous Gold serpent ring +1 + Discovery Coins. I tried around 20 times and I got it!

These dropped for me from the shadow b*stard in Lost Bastille. The one that’s hiding by clinging to the ceiling in the dark room with 2-3 chests. It was my second time killing it while re-exploring forgetting that room had him glued to the ceiling tiles.
So is it supposed to outright SAY on the stat screen it does bleed now, or does it just kinda do bleed? Because I have them equipped but I don't any bleed, but I still see the damage increase from RoB +1.

Shadow Gauntlets + Bare Fists + Ring of Blades + vanquisher's seal + Crest of Blood = Beat everything to death with your bare hands!!!

Do these add bleed to unarmed attacks with the vanquisher's seal I wonder. Gonna farm them tomorrow if I remember

They also DO apply bleed bonus to a weapon that did NOT have bleed before infusing. Example: Bleed Channelers Trident shows without glove bleed 112+69, with glove shows bleed 112+94, a 25 bleed increase

Shadow Haunts DO stack with blood crest and I've confirmed that they do add bleed damage to weps that already have bleed

can someone/give a proper explanation on how the special bleed mechanic is implemented statistically.
does it add bleed to weapons or only boost bleed if its already there? does it even work on weapons or is this only accessed through barefists? anything that it synergizes with? what is "bleed AR"?
