Shockwave is a Sorcery in Dark Souls 2 (DKS2). Shockwave, a spell devoid of direct harm, it releases a substantial shockwave to topple foes, leaving them vulnerable to attacks. Deemed by some as mere child's play, yet for a creative caster, it stands as a lethal tool. Sorceries demand the use of a Staff or Special Weapons, requiring a certain Intelligence level for casting.
"Does not inflict damage, but unleashes a large shockwave, toppling opponents.
Intended to stun opponents and make them vulnerable to attack. Some call this child's play, but for an innovative caster, it is a deadly tool."

Basically, sorcery version of Force / Emit Force
Except it doesn't do damage like Emit Force

No damage and takes absolutely forever to cast plus often doesn’t even do much stagger I guess it probably has SOME niche use in pvp but it just feels useless

A handy spell for PvP mixups, its slow moving nature will hit someone who might be expecting a Soul Arrow instead. It guarantees a pancake effect on contact, and while it does no damage, it can set up a Soul Shower or Vortex followup. Its low requirements also make it useable in a Pyromancy build as a possible precursor to Fire Storm.
Shame this spell never made it to DS3.

Doesn't do damage except when Armorer Dennis casts it on you.
