Spear wielded by Sir Yorgh during his invasion of the Sanctum city.

After his defeat of the Sunken King, Sir Yorgh pierced Sinh, the sleeping dragon, with this spear to claim its blood.

But Sinh immediately awoke, spewing a poisonous fog that blanketed the city in death, and Sir Yorgh disappeared in to the Eternal Sanctum.

Hints and Tips:

  • Upgrades with Petrified Dragon Bone to +5
  • Resistances change considerably: magic, lightning, fire and dark resistance are reduced by 70, whilst poison is increased by 200. Bleed, petrify and curse are increased by 70
  • Can be powerstanced with Thrusting Sword, Spear, Helix Halberd and Lance type weapons, but not Santier's Spear.
  • Although you cannot power stance this weapon with Santier's Spear, the huge variety of movesets of both can catch people off guard while wielded together, while Santier's Spear moveset will make it even more agile. equip both Illusory Rings if you decided to go for dual wielding Yorgh's Spear and Santier's Spear to make it even more unpredictable.
  • A useful combo for Santier + Yorgh moveset is Santiner rolling 1H L1 + Yorgh 1H R1/R2 for strafing and Santier L1 + Yorgh R1 for slightly faster Yorgh poking.
  • This weapon is devastating in PvE. With 40 DEX/40 STR and a Yorgh's Spear+5 you may deal up to 1500 damage with (relatively) quick two-handed R1-R1 combo (tested on dragons in Dragon Aerie).
  • Seems to respond extremely well to infusion; when infused with Magic, Fire, Lightning, or dark, the elemental damage alone is almost as much as the physical was before infusing (281 at +5 vs 300). This can prove extremely useful as a single 2h R1 can do well over 900 damage to other players with Old Leo ring, +5 magic infusion, and Great Magic Weapon, and result in a near instant victory with its deadly combo potential.


Moveset:

  • Although this is a spear, its moveset is a combination of different weapons moveset.
  • One-handed:
  • R1 - lance R1 attack (or spear R1 attack if you did a thrust with a secondary thrusting weapon L1 attack)
  • First R2 - spear R2 (like the Silverblack Spear).
  • Second R2 - overhead smash (Thorned Greatsword 1H R2, but this one does not shoot lightning).
  • Running attack - overhead smash
  • Rolling attack - lance rolling attack
  • Two-handed:
  • First R1 - R1 lance attack.
  • Second R1 - twinblade-like attack.
  • First R2 - halberd spin (only 2-spins, not the spin to win).
  • Second R2 - second two-handed R1 twinblade attack.
  • Running attack - lance running attack.
  • Backstep attack - lance running attack
  • Rolling attack - curved sword rolling attack
  • Powerstanced:
  • L1: spear L1
  • L2: spear L2

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".

Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.
