Hints and Tips:

  • Exceedingly powerful in backstabs, parries, and guard break attacks. Even with low DEX and a base level dagger it can still reliably hit for 400-800 damage. Due to the high criticals it can hit for.
  • Powerful weapon when enchanted (not imbued, however, bleeding and poison work wonders in PVP) with either a Sorcery, Pyromancy (Flame Weapon), Miracle (Sunlight Blade), or even resins. Due to the fact that it's quick attack rate mixed with elemental can be deadly. Especially if its bleeding or poison enhanced. The dagger can deal ridiculous amounts of damage when imbued with Mundane while your lowest stat is 30 or above.
  • This Dagger is Dex dedicated, quite handy if you have two +10 Dagger without infusion, and having 40 Dex above will have the daggers deal 200 damage above.
  • Mundane is another good option if you have all stat as 20 above.At + 10 Mundane with all stats 30 dagger gains an additional + 200 Phisycal damage (57 + 200)
  • At 50 Faith a +10 lightning dagger gains an additional 47 lightning damage from scaling
  • At Fire +10 with 20 STR/DEX, and 30 INT/FTH the Dagger does 80 + 18 Physical and 80 + 44 Fire Damage.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".

Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.
