Archdrake Staff is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.
*When infused: 161 magic dmg/264 elemental dmg
Staff of members of the Archdrake sect of Lindelt. A catalyst for sorceries and hexes.
In Lindelt, known for its clerics and their miracles, sorcery is believed to be a profane practice.
But as with anything, such beliefs are part faith and part front, and this staff was born of that hypocrisy.
Acquired From
- Sold by Felkin the Outcast for 4,000 souls.
Hints and Tips:
- an average balanced staff, nothing notable, though it has slightly better Dark scaling despite both are B scaling
- inferior to Black Witch's Staff due to the lack of spells variety.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.

A decent stopgap for Sorcerers. You can use it to upgrade from your dinky Sorcerer's Staff you use early in the game until you get to the Staff of Wisdom in Brightstone Cove Tseldora (SotFS only). Do note the 15 Faith requirement, which can be traded in at a later point if you have a Soul Vessel. Experienced players might want to give this a miss entirely by getting to the Shaded Woods, beating the Scorpioness boss and getting to Tseldora to pick up the staff. For Hexers it's less useful, mainly because the person who will sell you this (Felkin the Outcast) will give you the Sunset Staff at 20+ Int and Faith (which is 7 levels above the requirements of this weapon, and requires 2 additional levels to actually wield it).
