Bell Keeper Bow is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.
Wooden bow used by bell keepers.
Very light, and requiring hardly any strength.
The bells symbolize forbidden love; the bell keepers, their faithful guardians, ever-ready to annihilate trespassers.
They will stand watch for ever and ever, these determined, if ill-fated, marionettes.
Acquired From
- Dropped from Undead Aberration in Sinner's Rise.
- Dropped from Bell Keeper in Belfry Luna and Belfry Sol (Scholar of the First Sin only).
Hints and Tips:
- Slower arrow firing rate than other bows
- At Normal +10 with 40 Strength and 40 Dexterity the weapon has an Attack Rating of 283 (130+153). *Only 194 in Sotfs.
- Soul level 1 may use this with just the dexterity ring, otherwise for 1 more dex the short bow offers higher dps & is available much earlier.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.

Judging by the scaling it seems like it would only be "good" on a strange str/dex/dark build...I...guess?

"Slower arrow firing rate than other bows"
Meanwhile, Bell Keepers can fire three arrows per second at you. How many cheating enemies need to be in this game?

I don't think any of these numbers are right. It looks like the numbers for the Short Bow.

Someone should point out that in the non-SotFS version the requirements are much higher (8 strength and 19 dexterity). Wasted time farming the deformed scorpion beasts only to learn the requirements were completely different for this item in the vanilla version of the game.
