Black Flamestone Dagger is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.

 

A dagger affixed with a black crystal.
Found deep inside the Gutter, in the Black Gulch.
Heavier than a standard dagger, but with a fine crystal that gives it a smoother slice.

Some of the more determined souls exiled to the Gutter sought to scale the walls of the forsaken place and walk the earth once again, but failed, and wasted away mired in misery and resentment.

Hints and Tips:

  • The 1H moveset is the same moveset as swords like the Heide Knight Sword, but the 2H moveset has the same moveset as other daggers (Similar to the Royal Dirk).
  • At normal +10 and with 40/40 str/dex it has an Attack Rating of 238 (140+98), the highest of any dagger.
  • Benefits greatly from resins and elemental infusions due to its immense length and speed.
  • This is the longest dagger in the game and also the heaviest.
  • You can equip the Stone Ring to compensate for its low poise break, giving you good reach plus staggering
  • It consumes a large amount of stamina when compared to any other dagger.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.

      Absolutely cracked, elemental infused + buffed + 30% counter makes for nasty trading. Literally every move this weapon have is good. The running attack 2h have deceptively long reach.

        Has somebody tried this weapon infused in Mundane? Seems like with 20 minimun stat this could be a beast (if Im calculating correctly it should be close to 300 AR)

          Personally, I prefer the Bandits Knife because of the added bleed, amplified by the bleed buff that Laddersmith Gilligan sells
