Bone Fist is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.
Bone that is bound to the fist. Used to enhance hand-to-hand combat.
Salvaged from a malformed creature.
Enables one to fight with inhuman strength, as if the very spirit of the bone's malicious owner had taken control.
Acquired From
- DLC Crown of the Ivory King.
- Behind a door which is found through a side passage after you go through the door at the back of the room full of boxes (To the left of the door to the Abandoned Dwelling Bonfire). This door has 4 unlit fire stands which must be lit to open. To light these you must beat The King's Pet and talk to the Princess. Once through the door there is a wall you can activate on the immediate left (press A), follow that and it is on a body.
- To replicate this item via bonfire ascetic one has to use the Outer Wall bonfire.
- Frozen Reindeers drops these when summoned. Rare drop.
Hints and Tips:
- Upgraded with twinkling titanite to +5
- When in power stance (requires 45 Dex and 22 Str) use the heavy attack to shoot a projectile, deals high damage and knocks down small humanoid enemies, extremely useful for PvP usage.
- Can be powerstanced with any fist weapons or barehand, and the powerstance strong attack damage is affected only by the right weapon, although the powerstance strong attack can be used only when Bone Fist is equipped on the right hand.
- Powerstance strong attack does not deplete the durability of Vanquisher's Seal ring,
- Compared to the other fist weapons the Bone fist is notably slower, the one handed strong attack is probably the only fast attack this weapon has with its quick low sweep to forced back punch, the running attack is a running flying kick that can send players and human sized enemies flying, however caution is warranted when you are facing a ledge as you can jump kick to your death, also there is a slight delay before you can move freely after and leaves open a back stab. The power stance strong attack takes 5 durability per Hadouken, the Bracing Knuckle Ring +2 does NOT drop the durability cost.
- Your attack frames will give you immense poise (similar to swinging large weapons) that is incredibly hard to break and allows you to combo down opponents who try to to get into a literal fist fight with you.
- Interesting Fact : the Bone Fist is actually still valuable even broken. The scaling is so high that it is still able to decent damage because it only loses the base damage when broken (which is 20 at +5)
- The Bone Fist's strong attack resembles how Andre of Astora from the previous game fights, if the player aggros him.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.

Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit

Regardless of how much people hate on Dark Souls 2 (said hatred is undeserved imo), You have to admit it has some of the coolest and most unique weapons of any souls game, It's by far the only game where you can straight-up go full Andre of Astora on peoples asses and dropkick them so hard they go flying like ragdolls
- Anonymous
I've played every game including elden ring and the bine fist has to be the best weapon ever made
- Anonymous
sorry haters, but until another souls game gets an equivalent weapon to the bone fist, ds2 will remain king
- Anonymous
if they dont add a weapon similar to this in the elden ring dlc Im going to kill myself

The fact that these things aren't in DS3 or Elden Ring is a crime.

This is where the budget for all the weapon animations went

Try with Majestic great sword in left hand.
Funnest build as both have knock down capability and combo great together.
A staple combo is Drop kick or sweepkick-punch to knock down then use majestic spin attack, but the other variations are great fun too.
It's a fun acrobatic blade brawler build. Almost feels like Nightmare from SC.

When using the Special Attack with the Bracing Knuckle Ring +2 still takes away 5 durability.
Should I pair the ring with something else?

Makes me want to throw my first born son into an active volcano for some reason
man, I wish this weapon would reappear in Elden Ring, at least in the future DLC.

god i love this weapon. but i hate how hard it is to get in a normal playthrough. being locked to Crown of the Ivory King is a ***** as youll be at least halfway through the base game when you can even get to the area and to kill Aava that early is just a pain. but if you can manage it these are ****ing great. i hope they have something like this in Elden Ring and that its nowhere near as hard to get
- Anonymous
This **** turn you into a The Last Airbender character with this move set
- Anonymous
I hate this weapon. It has spoiled me. Never again can I use another fist weapon without thinking back to this beauty
- Anonymous
too pad the funny powerstancing moves are completely useless in the games PVE. you dont have time to chain together combos or do long animation moves against bosses. you'd be better off just spamming 2hand R2s with the vanquishers seal.
- Anonymous
You can roleplay chester from darksouls 1, durgo's hat with Northwarder set, and this weapon, the R2 is a sweep kick just like Chester's kick
- Anonymous
The only weapon I've seen where the whole community agrees its the most entertaining weapon in all of darksouls, shame they never decided to bring it to ds3, let's hope they bring a weapon similar to elden ring

looks like you entered the fun zone by using this weapon. congrats

I found the two handed moveset to be better than powerstancing, in pve that is
- Anonymous
This weapon's move set is a Tekken reference, it uses moves from Jinpachi and Heihachi's Mishima style combat karate.
It's weird to me that nobody ever brings this up in any wiki page.
- Anonymous
Is this worth upgrading? I mean, it doesn't seem to add a lot of damage
- Anonymous
Greatest weapon to exist , while difficult to master, it is a destroyer, albeit slow its ability to stun lock is a trade, but it's style is it's gold, this fist can be used with other weapons as part of a combo, It goes smooth with a katana's one handed thrust such as like sir alonne's blade, other weapons too goes smooth, but with a caestus it can be used to offset the slowness if you have not mastered it.

How many bonfire ascetics did you use to put "Door" in the location section that goddamn much

Become a ninja, skeleton! Then proceed to bone everything in the face, should have named it Bone Foot! \o/

First time playing the DLCs (I know, I know I'm late), I just found this, tried it on some soldier, and I honestly think something's wrong here. It's damage is....high. I mean, very high
- Anonymous
I used them is as a way to absolutly toss my enemies like salad, I have never loved a weapon more
- Anonymous
Should be noted that the Poise Damage that these put out is insane. They may do less damage than the Caestus, but they'll stagger almost any staggerable enemy from a single R1 attack, especially if you have the Stone Ring equipped.

Has anyone used this with elemental infusions before? How's the damage?

Sure the powerstance shoot hadouken but try this thing 2handed. Every punch hits like a truck. Always loved the idea of 2handing firstweapon. It like good old star trek cpt Kirk punches. Also the roll attack is a shoruyoken or mario type jump punch that lauches the enemy hehe. This weapon is so good and does massive poise dmg. With a stonering youll stagger things for days and the moveset is varied as heck, especially since 2handing unlocks a bunch you can switch between when otherwise powerstancing. And they weigh less than most rings; i never go without a vouple on appropriate builds.

This thing rekindled my love for Dark Souls 2. Like, look at it. When I first started Dark Souls and thought that Raw infusion and two-handed UGS was the only way to go because big big number make tiny monkey brain squirt happy chemical, I would've scoffed at this thing. Now that I know these games so well, these are now my favorite weapon in the series. I wish they were in Dark Souls 3 as well. This thing is such a blast to play around with and it has so much versatility that I'd take this over a UGS any day.

Has power stance for this been patched out? Got bone fist in both hands but won't power stance when holding triangle

Hmm. What should I choose? A max-upgraded warpick that two-shots almost anything, a max-upgraded lance that one-shots everything, or the bone fist? ..I think I'll use the bone fist.
S scaling in Strength. 30 Dexterity required to wield. Thanks Dark Souls II.

Can't believe they didn't bring this over to Dark Souls 3.

FYI : you can do "hadouken" in powerstance if you equipped both fist type weapon

When you're bored, you can use this to make enemies/NPCs fall off cliffs... Like the NPC in Majula, flying kick them off The Pit. Even if you lack the required stats, the 1h R2 and flying kick attacks can still knock people flying... Do this only if you're playing a sinner character or do backup saves though.
