*When infused: 161 magic dmg/218 elemental dmg
Bone Staff is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.
Staff crafted with animal bones. A catalyst for sorceries and hexes.
Properly trained sorcerers receive their first staff from their master after reaching a certain level of accomplishment.
Those without proper training must devise something of their own making.
Acquired From
- Located in a chest behind a boarded up wall closest to Cell bonfire in Lost Bastille head left from the bonfire and head up the stairs and down the rampart. Go down the ladder to your left and go through the door way and head right. There will be a boarded up door. Break the boards and head through and to you left. You will see a door. Use the Antiquated Key to open it and head straight and through the doorway, climb up the ladder to your left and drop down onto the raised platform. There is a passage way that leads to 3 chests. It resides in one of them.
Hints and Tips:
- The heavy weight and slow casting speed make the Sunset Staff better than this staff in nearly every way for a hexer.* However, it does have higher sorcery adjust, making it slightly better for users of both hexes and sorceries unless you infused it with Dark. Still, inferior to Transgressor's Staff and Black Witch's Staff
- Upgrades with regular titanite.
- According to official art book, it is supposed to be a belonging of Rosabeth, as a gift granted by her master Carhillion, somehow the idea is scrapped.
- Only 280 magic bonus with 50 int.
- 404 dark with 30/30

I personally think this is an excellent staff to have for a Hexer build at the start, mostly because it can be upgraded with regular tanite rather then the elusively rare at the start twinkling. Anyway, it’s good up until you can farm twinkling then the sunset staff should replace it.
terrible staff directions.
