Caitha's Chime is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.
Sacred chime blessed by Caitha, goddess of tears. Hex-dedicated catalyst.
Cannot be used to cast miracles. Caitha, the goddess of tears, is known as a compassionate being that is with us in times of tragedy, but some believe that she is a demoness that guides us toward misfortune.
Acquired From
- Treasure chest in Drangleic Castle, in a room with 2 chests just after the central bonfire.
- Dropped by Astrologist enemy in Iron Passage.
Hints and Tips:
- Extremely fast casting speed, but cannot use miracles. This is the best hex-casting chime in the game for casting quickly, but potentially loses out to Chime of Want for total power. Works best when infused with Dark.
- Upgrades with regular Titanite, making it easier to upgrade than both the Idol's Chime and Chime of Want.

The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".

100k soul memory scraps of life spam with a dark +10 Caitha Chime is actually really fun.

You are not able to cast [Dark Weapon] hex with it. (infused it with dark)

Is there a bug with this? I can't cast any Hexes with this and I wasted resources getting it to +10 dark.
