Notes
- The easiest way to safely retrive Chaos Storm without dying, is to coat yourself in water from the urns, found on the upper level leading to the roof, and then casting Flash Sweat*.
Doing so will reduce the damage to a point in which you can easily counter it with healing items and estus.
Wearing the Pharros Mask helps when it comes to walking along the lava paths. As the water effect the mask provides reduces fire damage.
Equipping armor with high fire defense and a Flame Quartz Ring will reduce the damage further and might be necessary if you have low base health.
Note: Keep in mind that Flash Sweat and Small Orange Burrs won't stack. Instead they will override the previous applied effect. - Video Walkthrough of getting to the chest without dying

Anonymous784 fire defense was enough to snag it with about 1000 hp. Have enough time to chug estus before opening chest, right after opening but before taking item, after taking item and then sprinted back.
Also easiest way to check fire defense is going to equipment menu, highlighting one of your armor pieces without clicking on it and hitting triangle twice. Was sorta hard to find that because the number on character stats is the wrong number

This spell is just bull*****I lost about 100k souls trying to get it already... I *****ing hate Iron Keep so much

Another great way, besides having as much fire defense as you can (Pharros Mask, Orange Burr, Flame Quartz Ring, Smelter Set...) is wearing the cat ring and the after casting Flash Sweat running and jumping from the platform above (skipping more than half of lava path and almost no fall damage). Just did it, even had time to feather out.
Roll into a vase with water before going down the stairs and then use Flash sweat. Barely any damage to loot this.
