Must have ring for poison, it'll pretty much double the poison scaling you get from 40-50 dex if the weapon is infused with poison. With poison spotted whips it isn't that insane of a % increase but it's still +120 on power stance.

It would've been nice if the description said something about the added poison effect in game.

Never had so much fun commanding a rat army while a grey spirit is getting stunlocked by a hollow.

This Ring+Sanctum Knight Gauntlets+Poison Infused Black Scorpion Stinger+50 Dex= If they run. Simply hound them until the poison gets them, and the constant damage just gives you their last known location. Making tracking easier. Basically a decent hunter build if you are sick of runners, usable by both duelists and trolls. (note the spotted whip is technically better, I just prefer the stinger.)

The Rat king will not get a gravestone and can there for not be summoned after being killed.
I messed up my poison build totally, I forgot to remove my moon butterfly set before talking to him...

do you have to be hanging in the rat king's territory in order for the summoning to work?

Do you have to be in the covenant for it to work? (the poison effect)
The item description has no mention of the poison boost
