Curved Twinblade is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.
"A twinblade imported from a foreign land. The razor-sharp blades cause bleeding, but as a result, are easily worn and dulled. When wielded by a master, this dual-tipped blade is an unparalleled weapon that hardly allows a foe any opportunity to retaliate..."
More description"
Acquired From
- Covenant of Blood Rank 1 : 50 rank points.
- Obtained from Chancellor Wellager in Drangleic Castle in NG++ for 10,000 Souls. (Not purchasable using bonfire ascetics; Chancellor Wellager NG++ items can only be obtained by progressing the game to NG++).
Hints and Tips
- Basically a Dex dedicated version of Stone Twinblade if you don't infuse it, this one however has slightly higher durability and the default Bleed auxiliary.
- Unique to twinblade type weapons, Curved Twinblade inflicts Bleed build up, however, not as high as other Bleed weapons for singular hit due to balance issue because it's a twinblade.
- If you have no regard to Dex scaling, you may infuse it with Bleed to boost up the Bleed buildup, paired with Shadow Gauntlet, Crest of Blood and even Bleeding Serum, this will make it good on inflicting Bleed.
- Alternately, Infusing with Poison will inflict Poison build up with a fire rate on par with Twinblade and Channeler's Trident with an additional small amount of Bleed build up.
- As other twinblades, this weapon will benefit a lot from the use of Stone ring. (tested on Syan knights and Loyce knights).

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.

At 40 dex it has 300 bleed with shadow gauntlets and blood ring I wonder if you can dual wield twinblades? Especially these if so in two hits your opponent will fall. Idk about pve though.

who the **** made this weapon covennant and ng++ exclusive? that's so dumb, should at least be farmable on first playthrough or purchasable with bonfire ascetic.

When I infuse this weapon with an old mundane stone it gains +25 AR. But it's bleed goes down from 139 to 69. Is infusing it worth it or should I stay with it uninfused? (I have no stat limit so don't ask about my stats)

In what world is this considered a good weapon To try thrust attacks?

You see those dex builds from Hammerfell? They've got curved twinblades

Is it possible to use a bonfire ascetic on the kings gate bonfire making it NG+, then starting a new game right after? So I don’t have to play through the game twice to buy his NG++ items?
