Dance of Fire is a Pyromancy in Dark Souls 2. To cast a Pyromancy, you must use a Flame or Special Weapons that can cast Pyromancy.
Pyromancy created by the magus Eygil, loyal follower of the Old Iron King. Cast flame in a sweeping motion across a targeted area.
The fire seems to dance, and makes its victims dance with it.
Acquired From
- Brume Tower, in a room containing an ashen idol, accessed from a ladder. Coming from the first bonfire, descend the first few short ladders after the first encountered enemies and then a longer ladder to another floor with an idol and more enemies. The spell is in a small sub-room off to the right from the ladder base.
Notes
- Quite similar to Flame Swathe in the way it is hard to hit, but it can deal a LOT of damage and it can be pretty useful when the enemy is running around in circles in PvP, it follows a weird pattern that can be described as a half circle and it is only useful in PvE when large groups of enemies are aligned in front of you in a horizontal pattern, the direction is depending on which hand is used for casting.

I find this spell so cool cuz it has a "dark flame" effect, just like the outcry spell. Makes me wonder if it also deals dark damage

use it around corners. in the right hand it moves in a straight line left to right you can easily attack someone on your right around a bend.

useless in pvp, only rolling noobs gets caught by it, But really looks cool

no one really gets caught to this in pvp, you need to do some 500 iq mind games to damage someone

Can also be made more useful in pvp by keeping a pyro flame in each hand. Casting in the opposite hand changes the direction the flames travel in. Free aim looking such that your target is north, and you're facing northeast or northwest, depending on which hand you cast from. Can give it a little more reach.
