Dragon Chime is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.

A sacred chime shaped as a dragon. A catalyst for miracles and hexes.

This chime sat long in the Dark Chasm, but still one senses a sublime purity.

Only those with the deepest faith can wield this chime, but they will be rewarded with greatly amplified spells.

Notes

  • It is wise to infuse this chime with Lightning through the use of a Boltstone at McDuff the blacksmith. This creates, with the required 50 Faith, the highest lightning AR of any chime in the game.
  • Among the miracle-focused chimes, the Dragon Chime has the highest casting speed in game. Excellent for throwing Sunlight Spears and Blinding Bolts.
  • Upgraded with: Twinkling Titanite
  • 473  lightning bns with 50 faith.

This game railroads you to hexes and "THE DARK" so badly that even the best miracle chime in the game is given/dropped by the dark covenant leader... The Mace of the Insolent is only good for hexes and the SACRED Chime Hammer is dark only. And of course they also nerfed the lightning spears into the ground because **** faith builds in particular, but Dark Orb is arguably the most cost effective damaging spell in the game.

Is it worth it to go all the way and kill the Darklurker or should I just kill Grandalh in Shaded woods to have de chime early on?

        • Anonymous

Hey, let's make a chime that is hands down the best for casting miracles and render everything else obsolete. Then make it only available end-game.

Is it possible to get two Dragon Chimes in the first NG cycle by completing the Pilgrims Of Dark covenant and then killing Grandahl?
