Drakekeeper's Ultra Greatsword is an Ultra Greatsword and one of the available Weapons in Dark Souls 2. Drakekeeper's Ultra Greatsword in DS2  is a robust pitch-black greatsword. This weapon is acquired by defeating Drakekeepers wielding them in the Dragon Shrine, specifically the ones at the beginning of the steps leading to the Ancient Dragon. Upgraded with regular Titanite to +10, this ultra greatsword shares its moveset with the Zweihander for both R1 and R2 attacks. This feature allows Strength builds to leverage the powerful two-handed thrust attack, making it a versatile choice for those favoring strength-oriented combat

How to get Drakekeeper's Ultra Greatsword in Dark Souls 2

  • Drops from Drakekeepers wielding them, in Dragon Shrine. The two at the beginning of the steps leading to Ancient Dragon.

 

DS2 Drakekeeper's Ultra Greatsword Hints and Tips

  • Upgraded with regular Titanite to +10
  • Shares moveset with the Zweihander for both R1 and R2 attacks, allowing Strength builds to make use of the powerful two-handed thrust attack.
  • Regulation 1.08 updated this weapon to have S STR scaling. At Normal +10 and 50 STR/Base Dexterity requirement (13) this weapon has an attack rating of 509. 569 with Ring of Blades +2.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.

      A worse, shorter and heavier Zweihander that requires you to kill Drakekeeper Knights one of the worst enemies in the game to get it... cool

        Looks cool, but it's disappointing how it's so much smaller than the one the actual drakekeepers use. Wish it was the length of the standard greatsword (and did as much damage).
