Flash Sweat is a Pyromancy in Dark Souls 2. To cast a Pyromancy, you must use a Flame or Special Weapons that can cast Pyromancy.

Notes
- Can be used to counter the fire damage on Semi-molten lava in Iron Keep to reach chests. Increases fire defense by +300 and does not appear to stack or increase with level of pyromancy flame. Also does not stack with Small Orange Burr, Magic Barrier or Great Magic Barrier.

I know that Flash Sweat does not stack with other magic, but would it stack with the Pharros Mask? Sweat from inside out and drenched in tears...? If so, that would be a great fire resistant combo (not to mention the fire defense ring...)

Handy for fighting Ancient Dragon. I stacked this with flame quartz ring + 3, dispelling ring, pharros mask, and the Hexer's chest and legs and it almost completely negated the damage from the midair fire breath attack (even at NG+1). Seriously, a direct hit did like 1% of my health with that setup (about 35% once flash sweat wore off, which tells me that the spell by itself would probably make the fire damage survivable even if you didn't wear half of that stuff). For a spell which requires no stat investment and you can buy for a pittance, it's worth it for this fight alone.
