Gyrm Set is an Attire or Armor in Dark Souls 2. Armor sets do not provide specific benefits, so players are free to mix and match their preferred parts to optimize their Builds.

Set Location

• Dropped by regular Gyrms (the ones with an anvil on a chain) in Shaded Woods (one, next to Old Akelarre bonfire) and in Doors of Pharros.

Notes

• Upgraded with regular Titanite.
• Helm offers second highest poison resistance (almost equal to that of Monastery hood).
• Helm offers third highest physical defenses (almost equal to those of regular Gyrm Warrior helm, Smelter Demon helm and Velstadt's helm) – second highest among helms upgraded with regular Titanite.
• While a bit inferior in physical defenses, Gyrm helm is better than normal Gyrm Warrior helm in all other stats and weighs a bit less.
• Compared to Gyrm Warrior Greathelm, Gyrm helm is almost equal in elemental defenses and better at resisting most status effects while offering ~10% lower physical protection.
