Havel's Set is an Attire or Armor in Dark Souls 2. Armor sets do not provide specific benefits, so players are free to mix and match their preferred parts to optimize their Builds.
"A helm (armor/gauntlets/leggings) as if hewn from a giant boulder.
Offers stupendous defense, but weighs a ton.
The origin of the name Havel is not clear.
Some say it was the warrior who wore the armor,
but others say it was the name of a great kingdom ruined in a barbaric war. "
Set Location
- Found in The Gutter, past a door unlocked with Forgotten Key: from the first bonfire, cross a small bridge, turn left, jump down to a ring of sconces and climb the ladder.

Notes
- Upgraded with Twinkling Titanite.
- Upgraded stats are only 40% higher, not the usual 50%.
- Chestpiece offers the highest physical defenses (except for strike defense) and the highest poise, as well as second highest bleed resistance (almost equal to that of Executioner set chestpiece).
- Gauntlets offer the highest physical defenses, bleed resistance and poise. They are also the heaviest among all gauntlets.
- Leggings offer the highest physical defenses (except for strike defense) and poise, as well as second highest bleed resistance. They are also the heaviest among all leggings.
- Set looks different compared to Dark Souls, plus it seems to be made of metal, not stone.

Ok, so i wanted to try full havel on a character because i am bad and i wanted to beat Avaa solo (i was not able before cause i suck hard), i am a bit overleveled to get the VIT to wear it.
It did not matter, i had doble the armor i had before putting it on and Avaa deal the exact same damage, unless her paws deal magic damage that can be blocked by a 100% phisical shield i cannot explain it

Need about 60-65 VIT ( with soldier ring +1 & third dragon ring) if you want to fully cosplay Havel and still want to mid-roll.

I beat the Ruin Sentinels while in full Havel set (Greatshield and Dragon Tooth included), on a NG+2 cycle using a Bonfire Aesthetic. I could only fat-roll, so to avoid that, I just walked around the Sentinels’ attacks, and switched between attacking with the Tooth and the Greatshield (since the Tooth has low-ass durability). Beat the Sentinels on my 2nd go using this method.

Stupid OP. Probably the easiest game to wield the full set. Starting as the bandit, it's very possible to wear the full set and normal roll with decent weapon and sheild choices by lv.50.

On here, it says that this set looks different than the set on DS1, like it's made of metal and not rock...maybe, for the sake of lore, that Havel's armor was discovered, and someone tried to replicate it, but couldn't make it from rock, so instead used iron and made more than one set....we do run into another NPC that we have to fight decked out in the entire set.... He's even wielding the greatsheild and dragon tooth!

I added all of this up in weight. It comes out to a solid 50 Kilograms which is 110 ish Pounds of raw ROCC.

The minimum lvl requirement to wear the full set with a decent sword and shield is 22.

I would complain about the fact that it's too shiny to be made of rock, but it does make it look better with other armor sets like the Alva set and Drangleic armour
