Heidi Lance is a weapon in Dark Souls 2
"A lance originating in Heide. A special alloy makes it very durable.
The composition of the alloy of these lances remains a mystery, but in Drangleic the attempt to imitate it resulted in the similar bradden steel.
Lances are normally wielded by mounted knights, and it takes considerable training to handle one on the ground."
Acquired From
- Dropped from Heide Knight after you opened the Shrine of Winter after the Second Bonfire in the Shaded Woods
- CAN drop on NG+.
- Scholar of the first sin : Dropped from a Heide Knight in the Gutter, you can find him to the left of the ladder which brings you to the yodel which brings you to the second bonfire.
Hints and Tips:
- Upgrade with Twinkling Titanite
- Infusion with a Boltstone makes its lightning damage a lot stronger while also not downgrading base physical damage in a significant way.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.

The normal lance has C/C scaling in STR/DEX while this one is C/E, which is strange. The normal one is heavier by 4 units, so it would have been made more sense if the lighter of the two has a better DEX scaling.

What the hell is up with the YODEL in the section for acquisition for Scholar? Is that a joke or an error? Either way it is shoddy work.

Pretty poor scaling, but low requirements for a lance. 2H R2 or running attack for pancakes. Neat little faith PvE staple.

The chart at the top does not mention any lighting damage, while the reinforcement chart does. Which one is correct?

This lance, the regular heide lance (not the greatlance) DOES NOT drop in ng+. I’ve tested it with around 60 bonfire ascetics the heide knight in the gutter will ONLY drop the greatlance in sotfs
(I mean that’s the only weapon he drops. He will also drop the armor set and greathelm)

This things heavy attack is super useful for NPC invaders. It tears through poise and deals high damage.

It's only a guaranteed drop (along with the Heide Knight Iron Mask) on NG in SotfS from the Heide Knight in the Gutter. It's possible to get it in NG+, however it's not a guaranteed drop and will likely take multiple tries to get either the mask or lance.
