I'm guessing that you have to defeat every boss with no weapon

I am guessing this would hide your health bar during invasions which would be broken.

Possibly made helmet invis, or maybe arrows/spells invis. The latter of which would be extremely broken, hence being removed

I figure that this ring hides half of your armor and the Illusory Ring of The Vengeful hides the other half.

My theory is that you got this by getting through the game without getting hit, which would make sense why they'd remove it because that's just an absurd task - R.I.P. Otz. And the ring would hide both your weapons lest just one, which, again would explain why they'd remove the ring because that might be a bit overpowered.

I bet the illusory rings of the vengeful and guilty were originally tied to invasions, most likely the blue sentinels and brotherhood of the blood covenants. Perhaps they were the the original rewards for achieving the highest covenant rank. My guess would be that when worn, rather than making equipment invisible they would make the player appear as blue and black(red) phantoms, similar to how the White Ring makes the player appear to be a white phantom.

Just like the Illusory Ring of a Conqueror (makes left weapon invisible) and Illusory Ring of the Exalted (makes right hand weapon invisible)... This item should make your weapon invisible.... Base on the name, you should be able acquire it by killing every NPC, or sh*t like that. (Sin sh*t)

yeah it might make sin not count so you cant get invaded by blue sentinels

Judging by the name, this probably had something to do with sin, as the ring of the guilty.
Should've made all throwables invisible
