Lion Greataxe is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.
Greataxe wielded by Lion Clan warriors.
The finely-crafted blade cuts smoothly, evidence that the lion clansmen are much more than vulgar beasts.
Acquired From
- Dropped by the Lion Clan Warriors in the ruins area of the Shaded Forest.
Hints and Tips:
- Upgraded with regular Titanite and souls to +10.
- This weapon hits hard with a steadfast, unpredictable moveset, but has a very limited reach.
- Does not inflict Curse, unlike the one used by the Lion clan Warrior themselves.
- Powerstancing has unique moveset which are based on Ultra Greatsword light attack and Great Hammer strong attack.
Moveset:
- R1: Short horizontal slash
- R2: Overhead smash
- 2H R1: Faster diagonal slash
- 2H R2: Overhead smash, can tie into a second one with another press of R2
- Lunge: Forward stepping overhead smash
- 2H Lunge: Forward stepping overhead smash
- Roll: Forward stepping 360 degree swing
- 2H Roll: (same as 1h roll)
- Running/2H Running: Large overhead smash
- Powerstance L1: Ultra Greatsword slash
- Powerstance L2: Great Hammer slam

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.

Currently with 48 Str, wielding 2 Lion GA +6 and I must say they work pretty good. My goal is 75 Str to powerstance 2 Gyrm Greataxes, but until that I'll stick with my Lion GAs

probably the best of it's kind. in terms of scaling suboptimal for a quality build, but strength builds should give it a chance.
i suggest you go for fire, lightning or dark infusion since it suits that weapon and they are all equally good.
pick your poison really, just not poison or bleed. i feel like this weapon needs to be faster or has to have more reach to be viable in that regard.
