*When infused: 102 physical dmg/44 elemental dmg and B scaling with chosen element. Dex scaling changes to D.
Manikin Knife is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.
Knife of the manikins of Harvest Valley.
The peculiar art of puppetry is a vestige of the two lost lands. The Queen, entranced by poison, used it to beckon unknowing souls to the defiled valley.
Acquired From
- Drops from Masked Manikin in Earthen Peak
Hints and Tips:
- Manikin Weapons (Knife, Scimitar & Claws) have a strange relation to Infusion. While most weapons get their physical damage almost cut in half when infused with an effect; the manikin weapons hardly lose any physical damage upon infusion. However to counter this advantage, the effect the weapons are infused with isn't as potent compared to other weapons.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.

Well i decided to farm 2 lmao and i got my first one in like 15 mins and got the next one in around another 7 and all i used was gold covetous serpent+2 and watch dragon parma....so it aint impossible just takes like 20 mins lmao
The most effective way to get it is by begging the community for it, but you can farm if you feel there is no other way. If you choose the latter, may RNGeezus find favor in you.

Ideal for powerstancing due to it's long range (shorter daggers tends to miss 2nd combo) and built-in bleed. Somewhat good with infusions, but i would slap poison or blood stones on it.
Of course, the problem is farming 2 of those, and getting just 1 is a hell of a farm on it's own.

So... this is worth it? Like, I mean, it looks cool and all (maybe thats enough reason for farming it) but is actually viable/has good dps?

Has anyone actually gotten this thing to drop from the knife manikins in Earthen Peak? I've been farming for days upon days and only gotten poison throwing knives. Does it only drop in Drangelic Castle, or from a certain located manikin or something?
Farming for this weapon is absolute cancer. 70+ Manikins and it still wouldn't drop

Why this weapon has no 5 Insta-hits combo or that jumping attack?
Like the ghost blades in dark souls 1 with that multi-stab combo
i wish that dark souls 2 weapons weren't the same but in diferent skin

The manikin knife is an amazing weapon that will win you many battles.MrIWont4Get did a weapon showcase: http://youtu.be/V1JHNZOmbx8
These have inherent bleed on them, like all the Manikin weapons, which is why they behave the way they do with elemental infusions
