At 40 dex and 40 strength, with RoB+2 and Flynn's Ring (7 vitality with third dragon ring), the AR of this weapon is 490.
The strength scaling is bad, but not terrible, most of the time you will obtain at least 1 point per level, sometimes I've obtained 2 points, so I consider this a quality weapon.
Sure, not as good as the ds3 version, but still fun since this game lacks quality weapons. This weapon's moveset is so fun, I miss the generic 1-handed combo with the thrust attack followed by the spinning slash on ds3 greatswords. The 2 handed thrust attack on this weapon is also amazing, I haven't tested it with the old Leo ring but it should do wonders on this sword.

Probably the only ds2 weapon that got a buff in ds3. FUGS is nerf, Drakeblood is nerf, Spotted Whip is nerf, but Lucatiel is eternal.

Damage output isn't amazing, but that can easily be countered with RoB, and the light weight for a greatsword makes it easy to integrate into a number of builds with a modest VIT investment.

This weapons moveset has been given to the Banished Knights Greatsword and Insperable Sword in Elden Ring.

I read many people complaining about twirly movements in DS2 weapons (or in this weapon). Funny, as those movements are ACTUAL fencing techniques applied here (check the sword drill "Farfalla di ferro", which serves to practive some of the stances in the Fiore swordmanship school).

A bit late to the party perhaps but i can recommend killing Lucatiel after she gives her gear at the end of her questline. That way you are able to purchase this sword from Melentia in Majula, giving you 2 of them in 1 playthrough for powerstancing goodness.
