Old Knight Ultra Greatsword is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.
An undated ultra greatsword. Wielded by a warrior from a time so ancient that there exists no record of his endeavors. Has extremely low durability.
Acquired From
- Dropped from 2-handed sword-wielding Old Knights in Heide's Tower of Flame (Really rare)
Hints and Tips:
- Upgraded with regular Titanite to +10
- It consumes less stamina than the Zweihander allowing for more attacks per combo.
- Highly recommended to use this weapon with the Bracing Knuckle Ring +2, use spares or repar powder.

Just like to let any poor soul grinding this it looks like the two handed sword knight wint drop armor sets or ultra great sword if you already beat dragon rider. I did this for 12 hrs and decided to use a bonfire ascetic as i belived maybe it was glitched and after testing it out i started receiving armor sets and the ultra sword after 12 atempts hope this helps you lads save some time.

Been at this for 12 + hours and nothing wearing gold serpent ring head of avarice tater clothing and nothing yet again what can i expect from a bs designed game like this.
- Anonymous
this is basically a zweihander but worse, but it looks cool so i'll definetly farm it

Go to the bonfire after the Dragonrider, equip a Giant Club (I infused mine with dark) walk through that corridor where there's only one of these knights, stronk bonk him to death, rinse and repeat and pray to RNGesus for the right drop.

I get this on nearly every playthrough but I've never used it because of the durability. Is it worth it if you bring repair powder/woodgrain ring, or will it fall apart before even clearing a single area?

Guys, i know it might not make sense for this weapon to deal slash damage with no edge to speak off.
But tell me: have you ever step on a lego piece? This weapon is like a giant lego piece that steps on you.

I got this on my ng strength cleric. I want it on my Havel monster on ng+4, and after 3 days of grinding, I still don’t have it. It’s very aggravating

Wow… apparently I have some dumb luck. I began a new character, and this weapon dropped on my second kill while at a merely level 10. Imagine my surprise reading this page. Seems that I’m set up quite early!
