This guy just broke all my armour and rings in 1 hit. granted I dont have high durability armour but this seems bugged. wasn't event a relevant weapon, he attacked me with the santiers spear. Oliver OP you mad dog

I've found the best way to deal with this guy is the "big weapon + big shield" combo. Nothing he has can really get through a high-stability shield, and his weapon-swapping can be greatly punished with a greataxe, greathammer, or greatsword. Backstabs with those weapons, while shield-strafing or while he's swapping weapons, will make swift work of him.

He pulled out a Ricard's Rapier on me and stunlocked me to death. Or some kind of rapid thrusting attack. Looked like a rapier though.

I goaded him into following down the ladder on the trap-plates and bathed im in lava.

The floor _IS_ lava, after all.

Someone who knows how needs to update this to state that one of his weapons can instantly break all of your armor and rings in a single blow. I believe it's the spear weapon, the plunging attack destroyed everything I was wearing.

I killed him but I would like to know why the hell all of my armour and rings were broken after he hit me.

What's this guy's setup in terms of armor and weapons? I see the minotaur helm, steel body armor, some kinda mace in his (from his perspective) right hand, and maybe a greatsword in his left? I'd love to cosplay this guy in my game. He looks kickass.

It seems that Oliver the Collector has a rather hard time dealing with people when they have a shield up(preferably the Drangleic shield or other 100% phys shield) and move around him, especially when alternating between clockwise and counter-clockwise. He seems easy to backstab, especially with spears(Old Dragonslayer spear is OP for this role) and rapiers; However, I have not thoroughly tested this or been able to for that matter, so take what I say with a grain of salt.
