Peasant Set is an Attire or Armor in Dark Souls 2. Armor sets do not provide specific benefits, so players are free to mix and match their preferred parts to optimize their Builds.

Set Location
- Dropped by Hollow Peasants in Brightstone Cove Tseldora.
- The Peasant Attire (chest) +5 and Peasant's Helm +5 is a drop of the Peasant Red Phantom in Brightstone Cove Tseldora. [Need confirmation in SotFS]
Notes
- Upgraded with regular Titanite.
- Hat grants +2 to FTH and -1 to INT, other pieces grant +2 to ADP and -1 to INT each.

Literally best set for a SL1 run. I would advise to use Cale's Helm as head gear though because why should you need faith. Carry the Vessal Shield and dex ring and you should be able to use that scorpion rapier.

Why on earth does this set not give item discovery? It's attire designed for farming.

They don't change FAITH, INT, or ADP in the base (non SOTFS) version. Might in the latest patch for consoles, but not for the PC version.

Just recieved Peasant trousers +5 from the Peasant Phantom in Brightstone cove. (SOTFS)

Peasant's Helm +5 is confirmed on PC/DX11 SOTFS, kinda like Domino Mask and similar "once per new game" items...
