- Upgraded physical defenses are only 25% higher.
- Leggings offer second highest petrification resistance.
- Leggings reduce falling damage and steps sound (enemies seem to react less on you).

I recommend trying to farm only on NG +. Because even though I was at NG +, it took a long time to get the whole set.

If you are trying to farm this set is a actually quite easy.
get the watchdragon parma, the prisioner's tatters, jester's cap and covetous gold serpent ring to boost item drops.
go through the dragon's sanctum and when you come across the stairs with the broken right side turn around and shoot the button on the wall, it will open the door on the second floor, inside there is a bonfire.
near this bonfire there are 2 sanctum knights that are very easy to backstab, one is to the right side at the bottom of the ladder and the other one is past the stairs, run to him and while he is changing weapons backstab him.
