Third Dragon Ring Locations
- 1st: Given to the player upon reaching rank 2 of the Company of Champions
- 2nd: Dropped by Manscorpion Tark or given by Manscorpion Tark as a reward for killing The Duke's Dear Freja
- 3rd: Dragon Shrine After the first bonfire, walk up the first set of stairs past the sword/shield giant, run past the mace-wielding giant and then all the way up the stairs to encounter a sword/shield giant and a mace giant. At the stairs, walk forward slightly and turn left to a path covered with boxes. Break the boxes and jump down to see two chests (the right one is a Mimic). Run further in to encounter another mace giant guarding a door. Get past it, into the door, and the ring is in the chest.
Notes
- The First, Second and Third Dragon Ring are treated as the Regular, +1 and +2 versions of the same ring, in that only one of them can be worn at once.
- It is possible to obtain two Second Dragon Ring of these rings by first killing The Duke's Dear Freja, speaking to Manscorpion Tark to obtain his reward, and then killing him afterwards.

Only real flaw is that if your opponent is able to damage your gear - for example, the Acid Surge pyromancy - the 3rd level of this ring is gonna be the first thing to go. Be careful about relying on it to make your build work.

This was the last one of these in the series that was worth wearing. Even the Ring of Favor +3 kind of sucked in DS3, and the Erdtree's Favor +2 is a joke.

Acid surge, corrosive urns, and King’s ultra great sword go brrrrr against this ring.

Question:
Got curious though, say you have 99 endurance which means you have 200 stamina, right?
What if you equip 3rd dragon ring, will it further increase your stats or nah?

the 3rd one is not worth it if you have a lot of halth and defence (which results in more hits before you die). The increase is tiny and it only breaks quicker

Third Dragon Ring Locations 1st: (Rank 2)The First, Second and Third Dragon Ring are treated as the Regular, +1 and +2 versions of the same ring, in that only one of them can be worn at once. ??? What?

it will break at the dragon's aerie fairly easily, and then you start fat rolling if your build is based around the ring. cheap to repair though, and unlike the ring of favor or prisoner's shackles - it doesn't get destroyed on unequip.

Is the 20 durability ever really a problem? How many hits must you take before it breaks?

Hey guys, to rob a bank, run into the bank, rob the bank, then walk slowly out of hte bank. You will be successful everytime.
Likewise, if you wish to get this ring, run past the guy, causing all the other guys to chase you, then slowly walk to the chest. You will succeed.
