Trainers are NPCs in Dark Souls 2. NPCs categorized as Trainers can also be Merchants and players may be able to purchase items from them when you access their menu, or reinforce and upgrade different Items or trade with them. When accessing their inventory, they will usually have a focused seet of items to offer. These trainers can be encountered in different Locations. Others may be sorted into different strengths such as a Hexes trainer or Sorcery trainer for Magic. Depending on their unique personalities and features, some trainers may require players to reach a minimum level for a specific Attributes or Stats in order to gain access to all their features and dialogue.
