Armor Type |
"Helm forged from an ancient bell. Appears to be a mere curiosity,
but it is in fact quite practical. The top of the helm provides significant defense."
Location
- Found in Frozen Eleum Loyce: just before dropping down to the second bonfire (Abandoned Dwelling), turn the opposite direction, pass a room with a Hollow Prisoner, and mount an icy slope.
Notes
- Upgraded with regular Titanite.
- Upgraded stats are only 50% higher.
- Negates headshot damage (and makes a bell ding sound when you receive a hit to the head).
- Increases the damage of spells that are cast with chimes (~1%).

One thing that wasn’t entirely clear was that it didn’t just negate the additional damage from the headshot, it COMPLETELY negates the damage of the shot entirely if it hits your head. 10/10 would ring again.
Me: Find's this and decides to make an unironic bell-based build
Also me: gets shot in the head while wearing it
The Helmet: "DONG!"

Ok and now these entire page set up its completetly different and broken and varries from the rest
Also these should be included then in the unique armor set category
as there is a single piece armor set

Ok but wear this while wielding the Sacred Chime Hammer and defending Belfry Luna or Sol for true dedication

A must-have for the Bell Keepers. "and makes a bell ding sound when you receive a hit to the head"... Perfect!
"it is in fact quite practical." Yes, blocking my vision seems practical in my opinion too.
