Demon of Song Soul is a consumable Boss Soul item in Dark Souls 2 (DKS2). Demon of Song Soul, the soul of the eerie Demon of Song dwelling in the Shrine of Amana. Consume for 12,000 Souls. Alternatively, trade it with Straid of Olaphis to obtain the Spotted Whip. Boss Souls are materials used to trade for unlocking various upgrades and abilities, spells, as well as for crafting unique equipment. These Boss Souls are obtained by defeating the various Bosses of the game.

When the demon developed a taste for human flesh, it was contained within the Shrine of Amana, but the line of priestesses who looked after the shrine and appeased the creature have died off.
