An ordinary kitchen ladle.

He who chooses this as a weapon either faces extenuating circumstances or has an odd sense of humor. If you care for your life, leave this one in the kitchen.

Acquired From

  • Obtained from Milibeth after killing the two cyclops on the beach (it is not necessary to kill the one on the side path) in Things Betwixt.
  • Cannot be re-obtained by using a bonfire ascetic, you can only get duplicates at NG+

Hints and Tips:

  • The very low base damage, combined with a low stamina cost of attacks, makes Mundane perhaps the only viable option for those who choose to use this weapon, also recommended for dual wielders.
  • However, this requires a really high SL, as mundane scales with a character's lowest stat.
  • A side benefit is that a broken ladle only loses its base damage. (around 10 dmg at mundane +0),
  • When equipped, increases Vitality and Endurance by 1, Adaptability by 2, and decreases Dexterity by 1.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".

can you get the benefits of this item (the passive ones) by equipping it in one of your offhand slots? can you also get them by two-handing a weapon and having this in your left/right hand?
