Strategy:

Ghost NPCs will try to break the player's shield and damage him. Bringing a shield with high stability is recommended, so that the player can guard and stay in a position to locate and defend against them. They have relatively fast attacks, and they are mobile, as they move around, circle and roll. The ledge where the chest that contains the chloranthy ring +1 is can be used to funnel them directly in front of the player, be wary of possible crossbow bolts from the side.
Furthermore, it is advised that the player should use have high poise and defense, as taking damage and trading hits is quite frequent when fighting the ghost NPCs. The general strategy is to stick to a wall or a tree, where the player has already memorized the location of one of the NPCs. Try to locate the NPC while protecting your back and attack them if possible or wait until they hit your shield.
Notes:
-Use high defense armor and stay under 70% equipment load. And use the Giant's ring for higher poise.
-Use high poise damage or a good poise breaking weapon; try to stagger and kill them as fast as possible.
-Do not stand in once place; move around and avoid their backstabs, as you will most likely die if you got backstabbed.
