Dragon is an enemy in Dark Souls 2 (DKS2). Dragon, inhabitants of the Dragon Aerie, bear a striking resemblance to the Guardian Dragon boss in Aldia's Keep and share the same vulnerability to lightning. With a touch of patience and a ranged weapon, they become easily defeatable, as they generally exhibit minimal movement. Enemies have their own behavior and unique attacks, killing enemies provide various drops that reward players with items and souls.
Dragon Information in Dark Souls 2
Found in the Dragon Aerie, these foes resemble the Guardian Dragon boss in Aldia's Keep and share the same weaknesses, namely lightning. With a little patience and a ranged weapon of some sort, they are easy to defeat, as they tend not to move often, if at all; with no risk to your life, you can, e.g., fire arrows over some rocks at their wings. There are a total of three non-respawning dragons in the Dragon Aerie.
It is likely that these are actually drakes, given that it is established in Dark Souls fiction that the dragons were killed off by Gwyn and the other Lord Soul possessers.

im pretty bad at the souls games and could use some tips on killing the dragon in the tower of flame, i already beat the dragonrider so all the heide knights are hostile and i find it too much of a chore to kill all of them while theres a bunch of old knights walking around
anyone have tips? i have 19 vigor, 6 endurance, 15 vitality, 16 strength, 22 dexterity, 12 adaptabilty and im exactly level 50

When I killed the dragon at Heide's Tower of Flame, it dropped its loot in the water ...
Is there a way to retrieve/restore item drops that are lost this way? Or am I just out of luck?

Alright whos idea was that to put a fckin dragon before old dragonslayer boss? It has no meaning for real all they do is breathing fire and cant pass that like that the only solution is poison arrows or play as sorcerer.

The information part on this page says that they are drakes but that can't be true since drakes have no wings. This one has 2 wings and 2 legs which would make him a wyvern.
