Stone Twinblade is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.
"Twinblade of the castle stone soldiers.
Sir Velstadt could always be found at the King's side, and followed him when he fled. The knights in his service waited patiently for his return, but turned to stone before he did."
Acquired From
- The Stone Soldiers wielding these weapons can be found before the Looking Glass Knight boss. It's a rare drop.
- The black phantom wearing the Aurous Set in No Man´s Wharf. NG+ only.
Hints and Tips:
- Must wait until the twinblade stone soldiers actually stand up (and are targetable) to kill them, otherwise they will not drop this twinblade. You have to wait until their eyes glow red, then you can start hitting them. Note: the stone soldiers don't drop souls either if you kill them before their eyes glow red, nor any of their any item drops.
- It has the best strength scaling among all the twinblades (while Curved Twinblade is Dex dedicated), yet it also has the lowest durability among the twinblade group.
- Stone Soldier drains its durability really quick.
- Extremely useful against Sanctum Soldiers and Sanctum Priestess because it can stagger them really quick

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.

Underrated af, probably the best twinblade in the game. Better than red iron R1blade IMO
Can you get this early by using a bonfire ascetic to spawn the black phantom?
