Stone Soldier is an enemy in Dark Souls 2 (DKS2). In a kneeling position, Stone Soldiers remain motionless and only become active when players draw close. The first encounter with them is in the large room beside the Castle entrance bonfire. I don't know about anyone else, but in normal DS2, it seems like they spawn forever, but after a while, their drop rates go down astronomically for some reason. Ever happen to anyone else?
I noticed something odd, but not sure if it's on console only or not. If you zoom with the binoculars and move from side to side, the real ones will drag slightly, but the statues that are not alive don't get that weird visual effect so you can tell them apart.
