Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.

Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit

Is this better or worse than the Witchtree branch, and why?
I'd like my caster build to have something classier than a big twisty stick.

at +8 and 51 int it has -104 magic scaling, minus 104. i cannot even comprehend as to why it goes negative at 1
6 intelligence more than using it requires

35 INT requirements and regular titanite upgrades makes this staff worth using instead of the staff of wisdom since it does slightly less damage. plus its very slightly faster than the staff of wisdom (Staff of Wisdom 110 casting speed) (Staff of Amana 100 casting speed) but being an end game weapon plus the rarity makes this a difficult choice.

does the damage modifier only apply to this staff? it can't be used as an off hand weapon?
- Anonymous
Nope! I fully upgraded both staffs and infused both with magic. Wisdom does slightly better damage.

Does the human boost make it better then the staff of wisdom when infused with magic?

"Boosts damage of spells while human." Any other item has a similar effect?
