Idol's Chime is a Sacred Chime and one of the available Weapons in Dark Souls 2. Idol's Chime serves as a catalyst for Miracles and Hexes. You can acquire it by either speaking to Licia of Lindelt with at least 30 Faith or by killing her during your first encounter with her or when invading with the Crushed Eye Orb. The Idol's Chime is considered the earliest hex-dedicated chime that players can obtain if they raise their faith enough. When combined with Felkin's hexes, it can be very powerful. However, it is not as effective as the Dark Black Witch's Staff or Dark Caitha's Chime.
Sacred chime of Licia of Lindelt. A catalyst for miracles and hexes.
In any town there will be a few folk with unusual urges. They either endeavor to resist these urges, or act upon them out of the view of others. The world is not so welcoming they may bare their souls true.
How to get Idol's Chime in Dark Souls 2
- Speak to Licia of Lindelt with at least 30 Faith. (base faith, Ring of prayers +5 boost does not count)
- Killing Licia when you first meet her or upon invasion with Crushed Eye Orb.

"Oddly, the bashing damage is higher than Caitha's Chime."
Well yeah no ****; Caitha's only has Dark damage, Idol's (and most other chimes) have Dark and Lightning. **** adds up.

It may not be the strongest in any one particular stat, but the sleek and shiny texture it has makes it appealing to get regardless.

Ironically, you most commonly get this chime when you aren't running a faith build (and therefore get rid of the hag with the lockstone).
>acquired from a cleric
>better for casting hexes
