Malformed Skull is a weapon in Dark Souls 2.
The skull of some unidentified creature. Swing as a great hammer to use as a weapon.
Possibly the skull of a dragon. A good choice, likely too rare to be swung about willy-nilly.
Acquired From
- Dropped by Undead Aberration in lower Sinners' Rise and Aldia's Keep
- Dropped by a mimic close to the first bonfire of Aldia's Keep in a corner outside the main building. (sotfs)
Hints and Tips:
- Upgraded with regular Titanite. Cannot be infused with Bleed.
- Weapon only has 20 durability and will break quickly. Bracing Knuckle Ring +2 is recommended.
- This weapon is ideal Raw as it has no scaling at all.
- As it only requires 17 Str and 7 Dex to two-hand, this allows plenty of points to be sunk into Vit, End, Vig, and Adp while still maintaining huge damage output.
- Minimum power stance requirement is 53 Str and 11 Dex, under Raw infusion, Ring of Blades +2 and fully upgraded both hammers, it inflicts 1919 damage at max for powerstance strong attack.

Parameter Bonus: Strength, Dexterity,Magic, Fire, Lightning and Dark bonuses - The scaling multiplier applied to the [Attack: stat]. Scaling quality is from highest to lowest as follows: S/A/B/C/D/E.
The higher the player's [Str, Dex, Mag, Fire, Light] stat, the higher the [Attack Bonus: Stat] is (found on the player status screen). The higher the scaling letter, the higher the percent multiplier applied to the [Attack: Stat].
This resulting bonus damage is added to the base physical damage of the weapon and is shown in the equipment screen in blue numbers as a "+ X".
Durability: The weapon's HP, when the durability hits 0, the effectiveness of its attacks become weakened to the point of almost uselessness. When an items durability is low, a message will come up saying "Weapon At Risk!" at this point the weapon does not perform at it's best.
Weight: How much the item weights when equipped.
Stability: How well the player keeps stance after being hit
Attack Type: Defines what kind of swing set the weapon has.

Having a broken one of these is fun to smash enemies with as it does no damage but still pancakes them

This thing is probably one of the worst greathammers in PvP, and the greathammer class is bottom tier in PvP.

This is one of the best weapons, its easy to obtain, no boss souls, can be infused and has one of the highest damage ingame with an average weight (most high damage weapons are over 20 weight)

I have this infused with magic, and for some reason the damage isn't going up when I level intelligence. Does anyone know why? (It has a C in intelligence scaling rn)

Just saying some updatin' is needed, I found this on a corpse in Aldia's keep (near first bonfire) and it inflicts bleeding....
hittin' like a truck if used raw or infused (dark, fire, magic or lightning) + weapon enchantment

This weapon is nostalgic to me because I got it dropped from that enemy in Sinner's rise back in DS2 vanilla and used it throughout almost the entire game, up until the DLC
