Curved Swords | Dark Souls 2 Wiki

Curved Swords in Dark Souls II are a type of Weapon that's very similar to Straight Swords, have shorter range. They are slightly faster than the Straight Swords, well-suited in confined spaces against lightly armored enemies, taking away their mobility to dodge in narrow areas. Curved Swords have a versatile movesets, mostly consisting of quick attacks in succession. Most of its moves consists of Slashing attacks, and a few of them have Thrusting attacks. Some Curved Swords can be power stanced to make a great combination. Note that all Curved Swords replace the kick attack with an evasive attack that makes the player slash the target and perform a flip backwards.
