Cast Light is a Sorcery in Dark Souls 2 (DKS2). Cast Light, an ancient sorcery with roots lost in time. Generates light to illuminate the surroundings. Light dispels darkness and reveals all, though whether such revelation is desired is another matter. Sorceries demand the use of a Staff or Special Weapons, requiring a certain Intelligence level for casting.

• Buy from Straid of Olaphis in the Lost Bastille for 3,000 souls.
• Buy from Darkdiver Grandahl for 3000 souls.

Cast Light Notes

• A very useful spell to have if you are playing the Xbox One version of the game since the lighting system has been changed
• Casts a light that illuminates the area for 50 seconds, can be a useful alternative to a torch,
  This will aggro Grave Warden Agdayne, whether invaders can aggro Agdayne in the host's world with this spell is another question.
