Notes
- This spell can be aimed manually with the help of Binoculars, thus becoming very useful against moving targets or for roll-catching in PvP.
- This sorcery can be quite effective on larger enemies at close ranges due to them taking the full effect of the sorcery, it can also stun opponents. It is recommended to use this against single opponents, as the sorcery does little damage to groups and most projectiles will usually miss their targets if attempted to be used this way.
Not to be confused with Soul Geyser, which fires multiple large soul spears, this one fires small projectiles. - ?

This spell shines in PVP. Each little projectile stuns the opponent and makes them look goofy as hell while keeping them at bay. Roll away, cast, repeat.

Ah yes, I was just looking for the spell that one-shotted my ass out of existence yesterday.
See, I was hoping I could kill Straid early on the game using those garbage full moon sickles that took me hours of farming, so I could get his swaggy armor for myself.
Oh boy, he just needed to cast it once, that guy is no joke.
I hope the spell can also be useful in the hands of actual players though, I just started another sorcerer build and I'm quite interested in it after being totally wrecked.

Really misleading name. Despite there being a spell that fires multiple soul spears and there being soul spears in the spell icon, and another reason I forgot while writing this, it does not fire soul spears, and instead fires tiny projectiles. Not entirely useless, but best used in pve with someone else to draw agro as you are very vulnerable during the casting of it. Really just should've been named something else.

not a terrible spell but it seems to me that it competes for the same niche as short range defensive spells like Soul Flash and Focus Souls. can't find a situation where I'm better off using this over those other spells, rolling away to wait for an opportunity to use a different spell, or just swinging with a melee weapon.
It's called "Soul Spear Barrage" because it deals roughly the same damage as a Soul Spear, so technically it's a splintered soul spear.

Actually it's great, at 80 INT and staff of wisdom+5 it demolished so many bosses, countless little beads just wreck em, I bought about 6 of the tomes, takes down every boss... SOFS xbox one.

seriously, this spell is garbage! The casting time is almost endless and it doesnt do good damage. It has very few castings as well. The stunning effect is useless and its just a spell that no one needs, that no one with brains uses. So please write that in the arcticle and not: it can be quite effective, thats a lie.
Very good with stone ring, predict a backward roll with this and they will get blasted.
