Very powerful item for beginner in series. Banned in most tournaments and will spoil challenge runs. Never accept an invader's common fruit (though they probably wouldn't share anyway).

Non meme bill*****aside, if your planing on using the sanctum mace, use them. Either grind, or buy from rat king. It greatly reduced the self poison of the weapon and allows you to swing it without worry when you stack the poisonbite ring on it.

I decided to test whether fruit really does block poison in real life by eating an apple and running through Doncaster centre. I did come away without being poisoned, but it turns out I'm allergic to apples so crapped my pants. Not sure whether the test was successful, if I'm honest.
